Season’s Greetings from Lisa Anderson

December 24th, 2017

I wanted to take this opportunity to wish my clients, colleagues, family and friends a happy and healthy holiday season!

Like this hot chocolate, I hope your holiday is cheerful and filled with family and friends.  As always, our family will be in a whirlwind during the holidays.

Thank YOU  for another successful year.  You are core to our success. Thanks to my APICS-IE Board of Directors for another great year!

And thanks to my ProVisors ONT group of top-notch trusted advisors….

I’m fortunate to have many wonderful people surrounding me:  My Harvey Mudd Executive Roundtable, Univeristy of LaVerne Executive Board/CEO Summit, MCIE executive committee, my global consulting strategy group, my student case competition co-leader

and someone who is very integral to my success, Ellen Kane (left) and my two best friends, Sandi & Vicki.

The bottom line: I appreciate my clients, colleagues, family and friends!
I look forward to more exciting opportunities, dramatic client results and, most importantly, enjoying more interactions with all of you!

Turning to the New Year, I plan to write a new book on the Coming Power of Manufacturing (with a chapter dedicated to my previous work-in-process book the Amazon Effect) as I’m excited about the vast opportunity for manufacturers and supply chain organizations….

Have a happy, healthy & prosperous 2018!

Season’s Greetings

December 24th, 2016

I wanted to take this opportunity to wish my clients, colleagues, family and friends a happy and healthy holiday season!

Although I have ZERO desire to move back to the Chicago area where I grew up, I love snowmen and thought this picture would be a fun way to share holiday spirit.

Which would you be? Sometimes I feel like the one standing on her head; however, I don’t think I’d be able to walk anymore if I tried that!

Thank YOU  for another successful year. I would not be successful without my fabulous family, friends and colleagues. Of course, thank you to my APICS-IE Board of Directors for another great year! We recently enjoyed a holiday party and so I have a picture of several of us.

It was a week of parties…… I also had a great time with a white elephant gift exchange in my ProVisors ONT group (top notch trusted advisors) – such a wonderful group of people and high-quality CPA’s, attorneys, financial gurus and business advisors (let me know if you ever need a referral).

Kash Gokli and I enjoyed a great year with our Harvey Mudd Executive Roundtable group; Ellen Kane and I had our best year yet with a sold out, GLOBAL APICS West Coast Student Case Competition; Wally Brithinee and I had a successful MCIE (Manufacturing Council of the Inland Emprie) Innovation awards program; my ACA Group collaborated successfully to deliver client results and I started/continued several university and mentoring affiliations [joined the University of LaVerne’s Board of Directors for the business program, joined the Pomona College internship program, joined the Drucker School’s women in supply chain mentoring program, helped one of my favorite former clients (Jim Cenname) with Cal State Fullerton mentoring and worked with Norco College’s Logistics advisory board].

I had some great clients in 2016 (enjoyable projects and results – what could be better!) and was able to travel a bit. Of course I went to AZ to spend time with my Mom and family and was able to get to NC for my best friend’s daughter’s engagement party. I went to Australia for a strategy session and stayed to enjoy a few weeks in Australia and New Zealand with my other best friends. And, I went to Japan for a board of advisors meeting and enjoyed several days of tours – who could ask for more?

2017

Turning to the New Year, I look forward to the New Year and collaborating with clients to help them achieve even greater levels of success.

I am in AZ to spend Christmas with my family and will help my mom with some jobs around the house (hopefully we are quite productive so she feels like something has been accomplished), and I’ll be with my best friends for New Year’s in Charleston – should be great fun!

Have a happy, healthy & prosperous 2017!

Seasons Greetings

December 24th, 2015
seasons greetings

Treat yourself during the holidays in the company of family and friends.

I wanted to take this opportunity to take this opportunity to wish my clients, colleagues, family and friends a happy and healthy holiday season!

Doesn’t this picture look decadent! I thought it looked wonderful — especially to sit back and relax with this Christmas assortment (even better if someone delivers it to you). In today’s Amazon-paced world it seems like we all could use a minute to think and relax. Thus, I wanted to pass it on to you with a wish for just that, surrounded by family and friends this holiday season.

Thank YOU for another successful year — my 10-year milestone (with a big shout out to my LMA Advocates), my continued business growth, new and interesting client projects & results, engaging APICS events & a fabulous Board of Directors (they dramatically increased the value we provide, and I want to pass on my gratitude), an engaging and collaborative ProVisors group (you won’t find beter trusted advisors anywhere!), trusted alliances (such as the ACA Group and the Harvey Mudd Executive Roundtable), and most importantly great times spent with friends and family.

This year, I’d like to pay special tribute to my dad. I was fortunate to spend my dad’s birthday with him a few days prior to his stroke and eventual passing. He was a consummate family man and he and my mom are the catalyst behind my success. They had the unwavering belief that I could accomplish anything I wanted. And if I tried my best, that was all that mattered.

For example, I remember that I first realized I was woman in a male-dominated field when my wonderful colleague Bill Weber asked me how I felt about being the only woman at a Board of Directors meeting (where they would have preferred a white-haired graduate from Harvard; however, thank goodness, my CEO wanted someone who delivered results).

2016

Turning to the New Year, I look forward to kicking off my next 10 years with gusto. I plan to starty off early next year by wrapping up the book I’ve been writing on the Amazon Effect — and, of course, much of my focus will be on collaborating with clients to help them achieve even greater levels of success.

I am going to AZ to spend Christmas with my family and will help my mom with some jobs around the house, and I’ll be back in CA for New Year’s with friends — hopefully sleeping in, enjoying a few movies and grabbing a bite to eat at one of my favorite restaurants (ones with guacamole!).

Have a happy, healthy & prosperous 2016!
