Manufacturing offers dynamic and rewarding career opportunities, yet women continue to be underrepresented across many areas of the industry. I was honored to participate in APICS San Fernando Valley’s “Women in Manufacturing” panel discussion, where industry leaders shared their career journeys, lessons learned, leadership experiences, and advice for the next generation of manufacturing professionals.
The conversation explored the evolving role of women in manufacturing, the importance of mentorship and leadership development, and how building strong relationships, remaining curious, and continuously learning can create opportunities for success in supply chain, operations, and manufacturing careers.
